Data Exchange in practice: Structure, agreements, and scale with Pinnacle 21 Enterprise

Clinical trial data no longer comes from one place. Today, more than 70% of trial data originates from external vendors, often across a dozen or more sources per study, each with its own format, timeline, and transfer process. For data managers, that reality means constant reconciliation work before analysis-ready data ever comes into view.

This session shows how Pinnacle 21 Enterprise's Data Exchange capability, alongside CRF Creator and Forms/Form Specs, brings structure to that complexity. A P21E product expert will demonstrate how data transfer agreements and specifications are established and maintained across vendors, and how that structure keeps incoming data consistent and CDISC-aligned before it reaches a repository.

The demo will also cover how Certara Services' External Data Accelerator initiative supports data management teams through this process, starting with hands-on partnership to set up vendor-specific specifications and agreements, then building toward a model where the client's own team operates the tools independently.
