Establishing KPIs That Matter
Information
Session chaired by Kevin Johns
Description:
Performance metrics can be powerful drivers of the work that gets done in an organization. A poorly conceived metric can lead to wasted time and investments in low-value activities or counter-productive workarounds. Well-conceived metrics can increase efficiency, shorten cycle times, and reduce the burden of work on study teams.
Given the changes occurring in data management (shift to clinical data science, new data sources, data workbenches, AI, and more), or changes in one's organization (outsourcing, process transformation, or bringing systems in-house) are we still using the same KPIs from 10 years ago? It's time to re-evaluate the performance metrics used in your organization.
In this session, panellists will respond to key discussion topics and questions regarding how their organization thinks about and manages metrics.
